Catherine M. Houlihan is an associate attorney with Barsamian & Moody. Her practice involves all aspects of labor and employment law, employment compliance and litigation of labor and employment cases, including class action wage and hour claims and Private Attorneys General Act claims. Ms. Houlihan has experience in all aspects of litigation, including written discovery, dispositive motions, settlement negotiations, post-trial damage hearings, and trial in state and federal courts.
Ms. Houlihan obtained her law degree from Appalachian School of Law in Virginia where she graduated with honors. While in law school, Ms. Houlihan participated in the school’s Moot Court teams, placing in national Moot Court competitions in New York and West Virginia. She also earned a position as an Honors Intern with the Environmental Protection Agency and worked as a law clerk for the National Agriculture Law Center. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Houlihan earned her B.S. in Animal Science from California State University, Fresno. Outside of work, Ms. Houlihan enjoys taking day trips to the beach and the mountains with her husband and their two dogs.
